Its about the journey and not the finish line.
The idea of the 3hour5k is that you run 3.1 miles (a 5k) in 3 hours. You take the rest of the time after each run to work on whatever you want. Action causes action and we believe that movement helps to knock over the first domino.

We are starting out on the journey with you starting January 1, 202(3hour5k). Most people set so many new years goals that they never accomplish them. Starting January 1 we hope you accomplish at least 3!

Its about creating an experience that we believe will change your life for the better starting today!
What is important is you take the time after each run to COMPLETE a task.
The 3hour5k is meant to take you on a journey 3 hours at a time. Its NOT about registering for a 5k Race and going home.
1st Hour - Run 1.1 miles - Complete 1 task in the remaining time
2nd Hour - Run 1 mile - Complete 1 task in the remaining time
3rd Hour - Run 1 mile - Complete 1 task in the remaining time AND Celebrate all your have done in 3 Hours!!!

The Goal of the 3Hour5k is to get you moving in more ways that one. So many of us struggle with Time and Tasks. We can't complete a task. In the 3hour5k you WILL complete 3 tasks AND run a 5k (So technically 4 tasks). Then the real fun begins with when you start asking... what will I accomplish in my NEXT 3Hour5k

If you run 1.1 miles in 11 minutes take the next 49 minutes to write 10 cards to 10 friends and put a stamp on each to mail tomorrow
